Terminal and getting there
The ferries leave from the HarbourFront Passenger Terminal, 5 HarbourFront Avenue, above HarbourFront MRT station (North East and Circle Line, Exit B). By taxi it is 10 to 15 minutes from the city centre. The HarbourFront terminal guide has the bus lines and facilities.
Check-in and passport control
Batam Fast, Majestic and Sindo close check-in 30 minutes before departure; with Majestic, online check-in closes one hour before departure. Keep your passport and boarding pass ready for the security check before Singapore's departure immigration.
Luggage
20 kg of checked baggage per boarding pass is included, plus one piece of hand luggage of up to 10 kg and 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Excess baggage and bulky items such as bicycles or surfboards are charged. Batam Fast carries no animals.
Arrival in Sekupang
In Sekupang you clear Indonesian immigration at the ferry terminal. Check before you travel whether your nationality needs Indonesia's e-VOA, and fill in the digital arrival card. The sailings back from Sekupang to HarbourFront are shown in the departures on this page; for the return, Singapore asks for the SG Arrival Card. Batam is one hour behind Singapore, so the sailings back are in local time.
