Terminal and getting there
The ferry leaves from the HarbourFront Passenger Terminal, 5 HarbourFront Avenue, above HarbourFront MRT station (North East and Circle Line, Exit B). Check-in
Sindo's baggage counter closes 30 minutes before departure, but the same Sindo page asks for baggage to be checked in at least 45 minutes ahead. Plan for the earlier time and leave room for the security check and Singapore's departure immigration.
Luggage
Sindo includes 20 kg of checked baggage per boarding pass, with no single piece over 30 kg, plus one piece of hand luggage of up to 10 kg and 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Excess baggage is charged, and so are bulky items such as bicycles or surfboards.
Arrival in Tanjung Balai
