Singapore Island Cruise & Ferry Services has run a scheduled day ferry to Singapore's Southern Islands since 2007. Its fleet of 15 air-conditioned boats sails from Marina South Pier to St John's, Lazarus and Kusu Island, and it also runs charters.
Routes from Marina South Pier
The boats run a loop from Marina South Pier via Lazarus and Kusu back to the pier. St John's and Lazarus are about 30 minutes away, Kusu about 45 minutes; there is no direct link between Kusu and St John's or Lazarus. See Marina South Pier - St John's Island and Marina South Pier - Kusu Island.
Big Sisters' Island is only served on public holidays, with a change of boat at Lazarus.
Tickets and changes
Every ticket is a return ticket: one ticket covers the way out and back. Tickets are strictly non-refundable. You can change them subject to availability, and a changed ticket stays valid for the return to Marina South Pier on the following day.
At the pier
The counter is at Marina South Pier, 31 Marina Coastal Drive, a minute's walk from Exit A of Marina South Pier MRT station: the orange counter behind the security check. Arrive at least 25 minutes before departure.
The last boat
On weekdays, the last ferry from Kusu to Marina South Pier leaves at 16:15. Overnight stays and camping are not allowed on Kusu; on St John's and Lazarus, camping needs a permit from the Singapore Land Authority. In the Kusu pilgrimage season, in the ninth lunar month, the ferry runs more often.
