Terminal and getting there
The ferry leaves from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in the east of Singapore. Take the MRT to Bedok or Tanah Merah and change to bus 35 to the terminal; by taxi it is 20 to 30 minutes from the city centre and 10 to 15 minutes from Changi Airport. The Tanah Merah terminal guide has the facilities.

Batam Fast closes check-in 30 minutes before the timetabled departure. Security and Singapore's departure immigration come before boarding.
Luggage
Batam Fast includes 20 kg of checked baggage, with up to three pieces and 40 kg in total per passenger, plus one piece of hand luggage of up to 10 kg and 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Bulky and excess baggage is charged. Batam Fast carries no animals, not even assistance dogs.
Arrival at Desaru Coast
The ferry arrives at the Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal, Laman Desaru Coast, Jalan Desaru, 81930 Bandar Penawar, Johor. The terminal operates from Thursday to Monday. You clear Malaysian immigration on arrival; foreign visitors submit the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within three days before travel. The Desaru Coast Shuttle Bus, a hop-on hop-off service, runs from the terminal to the resort area. The sailings back to Tanah Merah are in the departures on this page, and Singapore asks for the SG Arrival Card on return.
