Singapore ferry timetable
Singapore has three ferry terminals: HarbourFront for Batam, Karimun and Nirup, Tanah Merah for Bintan, Batam and Johor, and Marina South Pier for the Southern Islands. Choose a route and date to see the departures with operator and arrival time, and switch the direction for the way back.
Reading the timetable
The live board above covers all fifteen routes from Singapore. Pick the route, then the date; the direction switch shows the sailings back. The departures come from the booking feed, and your booking confirmation is the authoritative source for your own sailing.
From HarbourFront to Batam and Karimun
HarbourFront is the terminal for most of Batam. Batam Centre has the densest timetable, with Batam Fast, Majestic and Sindo sailing from early morning to evening. Sekupang and Harbour Bay follow, then Waterfront City, Gold Coast Bengkong, Tanjung Balai on Karimun and Nirup Island.
From Tanah Merah to Bintan, Batam and Johor
Tanah Merah in the east serves Bintan: Bandar Bentan Telani for the Bintan Resorts area with Bintan Resort Ferries, and Tanjung Pinang, Bintan's main town, with Majestic and Sindo. Batam Centre and Nongsapura on Batam are reachable from here too, and so are Desaru Coast and Tanjung Pengelih in Malaysia on selected days.
From Marina South Pier to the Southern Islands
Singapore Island Cruise sails from Marina South Pier to St John's Island and Kusu Island several times a day, from the morning to the late afternoon, on a return ticket. The last boat back sets the length of your visit.
Before you travel
For the international routes, the Singapore Cruise Centre terminals open baggage drop 60 minutes and security 45 minutes before departure. Bring your passport and boarding pass. Which route has the most sailings? +
Batam Centre from HarbourFront, with Batam Fast, Majestic and Sindo sailing between them from early morning to evening. The route page has the details.
How early do I need to be at the terminal? +
The terminal's baggage drop opens 60 minutes and closes 20 minutes before departure, and each operator sets its own check-in deadline on top. Plan to be there an hour ahead.
Are the return times in Singapore time? +
Batam, Bintan and Karimun are one hour behind Singapore, so the sailings from Indonesia back to Singapore are in local time. Check the time zone of your arrival port before you plan a connection.
What if no departure shows for my date? +
An empty result means the route is not served that day or the next schedule period has not reached the live feed yet. Check a neighbouring day or the operator's own timetable.
Do the island ferries run every day? +
Yes. The ferries to St John's and Kusu run several times a day from Marina South Pier. On weekdays the last boat back from Kusu leaves at 16:15.
